Kyle, Doubt Big Miracle and The Woman in Black will ever make the watch list, but will definitely catch Chronicle at some point.

I love going to the theater to watch movies, yet I understand your reservations about doing so. I usually go to the early matinees at my local AMC theater and never get anything at the concession. So, theater is only about 10 minutes away and tickets are $6. Plus, there are a lot less people at the early showings, so less likely to be near a talky-talkerson. Some movies just are better on the big screen, mainly action flicks. But, the synergy of watching a comedy with a large audience can be pretty great at times as well.

Interested in all three of these, however, I suspect the first will be really cheesy. The second, I agree with you on the found footage stuff. And the third looks nice and creepy.
That said, I probably won't be seeing any of these for at least 3 months--until they hit Blu-ray. Going to see a movie in the theater is like taking a plane for a trip--there's a lot of extra time wasted driving there and getting there way before the show time, the tickets and food are overpriced, and I always seem to have some person around me making a lot of noise. ;) Unless I'm really afraid of spoilers, others really want to see it right away or I have some kind of free/preview pass, I'll just wait.

This is one great movie - I watched it from my friends laptop at first and being moved by it - bought a DVD copy to share with my family. Each and everyone have a tear in our eyes when the movie is finished - especially at the end when Kevin Bacon came home. His expression in that last scene as if he was saying "we did it" - damn it felt good and it was Fantastic - not just any other revenge movie I've seen so far - this is Priceless!

Kyle, Yes, it's kind of fun, but it pretty much plays out as you'd expect. Sort of had the same problems as your average procedural TV shows. Based on who was cast, you knew who was all involved.

Will be interested to hear your thoughts on Man on a Ledge. Saw a sneak preview last night and found it really fun and entertaining. Really liked the bother/girlfriend characters. However, it is so predictable and filled with every heist/suspense movie cliche. The dialog and some of the acting is also pretty poor. (Though not unexpected given that it is from the studio that gives us the Twilight gems.) Also, not sure if he has health problems, but Ed Harris looked terrible--like he had been training for a live-action Skeletor role.

I loved this movie ( and I hope we can have a shooter 2) this was right up there for my all time favorites with die hard & the fugitive, & Kidnapped with Liam Nelson, I was very impressed with all the stuff they had to know to be a sniper ect. I like the movies where Mark Walhberg can play a tough guy the others I didn't like as well. I was just checking this site it is now (2012,) to see what novel this movie came from as I wanted to read them.

I really like the first 2 Underworld films, the prequel less so. Can't wait to see the new one in 3D, though will probably wait and put my $15 towards the 3D Blu-ray.

Saw the trailer for Haywire for the first time this week--looks great!

Despite being billed as the "Best 3D Film Ever" on the ads, I have no intention of seeing Happy Feet 2--wasn't a fan of the original (granted, I'm probably not their target audience).
