I haven’t seen this movie yet, but it is one that I really want to see. I enjoyed the other films in the franchise (don’t know why Wolverine gets a bad rap–I thought it was better than the 3rd film). It seems like this was just in theaters!

  • Chris R Aug 31, 2011, 8:36 pm

Favorite X-MEN FIRT CLASS CHARACTER : Emma Frost

Reason why : While I cannot say that the first official X-Men: First Class cast images are impressive or inspiring (although fans will sure dig Emma Frost’s authentic outfits from the comics), it does show that they aren’t shying away from the use of colors and costumes, paying a little more tribute to the X-Men books, at least in style if not story.

  • Anna Aug 31, 2011, 10:24 pm

    Favourite character: Charles Xavier.
Because Charles is so immature at times. He’s constantly trying to help Erik harness his powers and stop him from destroying the human-mutant bond. Charles is convinced that there’s a better way to have peace than to destroy the humans. However, as seen in the club scene, he’s young, and he’s a guy. Charles kinda reminds you that mutants are actually people, and have personalities and sex drives. :P The deleted scene with Erik in drag just goes to show you…he’s not as mature as you’d think.
Or maybe the problem is that he…is. ;)

  • Adrienne Gordon Sep 1, 2011, 4:25 am

I havent seen it , but my kids love super heroes, so I’m sure they would like it.

  • Audra Sep 1, 2011, 8:52 am

I saw this movie and it was a lot of fun. I loved Kevin Bacon’s character and the background of Charles Xavier and Magneto that we got to see. These are such complex characters its great to get to understand what happended to them. I didn’t read the comics much so I really appreciate this background material. I thought this movie was well-paced and got back to good storytelling.

  • Steph Sep 1, 2011, 9:09 am

I have not seen X-Men: First Class yet. I think it looks good and my whole family loves super hero type films so it would be a big hit.

  • Kim Kelly Sep 1, 2011, 10:34 am

Erik was my favorite character. He was so flawed and yet so sympathetic for someone who would become the villain.

  • Karen Dubroc Sep 2, 2011, 6:14 am

I hope I win one. But Eric is my favorite actor in the movie.

  • Doug Sep 2, 2011, 7:14 am

I really wanted to see it while it was in theaters but I just never had the time to go. I absolutely loved the previous X-men films and I heard great things about this one. I can’t wait to see it

  • Drew Sep 2, 2011, 11:19 am

I love X-men, when I was a kid I would draw and design my own comics. And my favorite is Cyclops. hope to win!.

  • Allison Wilson Sep 2, 2011, 3:31 pm

Definitely Erik, I think that he had the most depth as a character, and was just overall the most interesting!

  • Stephen N. Sep 2, 2011, 3:37 pm

I haven’t seen it yet but am DIEING to. I NEED this to complete my X-MEN collection!!

Being a Graphic & Web Designer, I have to admit that I used to collect X-men comics growing up as a kid. Seen it, of course. That is the beauty of being involved in a life full of digital media. You’re privy to all of the newest releases before their scheduled release. :) My favorite character is Wolverine, simply because he keeps to himself until he is provoked or rubbed the wrong way. Lol. Surprised that they have yet to introduced a spin off of the New Mutants as of yet. Those were some pretty colorful characters as well (but they were all in their teens, which I think would appeal to the younger generation.

  • Justus Sep 3, 2011, 1:05 pm

I haven’t seen the movie yet but without a doubt I want to see it. I mean, how simply can it get? It’s X-Men! It’s classic. And I’m missing out a great deal by not being able to see it.

  • James Sep 3, 2011, 3:50 pm

My favorite character featured in X-Men first class was Charles Xavier, as portrayed by James McAvoy. Being a major X-Men enthusiast, I was very pleased with the film’s take on a young, inexperienced, sometimes even immature Xavier. The film shows how he is forced into a leadership role, and sets him on the path to becoming the man he is destined to be. The dynamic between himself and Raven Darkholme was especially ingenious, and pushes Mystique in a much more humanizing and sympathetic light; and of course Xavier’s Martin Luthor King, the Eric Lenshir’s Malcolm X ( albiet to an extreme) shows how their fast friendship was ultimately doomed to fail.

  • Melanie Sep 3, 2011, 5:34 pm

I saw the movie. I like both Charles Xavier and Eric. I like seeing the friendship of all the characters. I like seeing what drove each character. I like finding out how Eric became Magento. I like seeing to orgins of all the characters that became Xmen.

  • Courtney Michele Sep 3, 2011, 8:34 pm

I haven’t seen it yet and that’s why I want to win it! I really like Nicholas Hoult and Zoe Kravitz so I’d like to see them in this movie.

  • Ashley Sep 3, 2011, 10:42 pm

I love all the X-men movies! I enjoy the imagery and amazing technology used for these films.

  • Patrick Lyons Sep 4, 2011, 12:43 am

    My favorite character is Magneto.

I’ve been an avid reader of X-Men comics for the past 25 years and I have found Magneto to be such a complex character. He is a villain with a soul. his tortured past has given him cause to hate the existence of homo sapiens while advocating the rise of homo superior. He is the perfect balance to Charles Xavier’s character.

  • Jim W. Sep 4, 2011, 6:45 am

    I love Magneto

  • Cordy Sep 4, 2011, 7:23 am

I love xmen! Never got to see this film though… Wan’t it to add to my other xmen movies. Would love to see the A young Xavier!

  • steve b. Sep 4, 2011, 11:21 am

Sounds like great movie to watch. Have not seen.

  • Rayond Slater Sep 4, 2011, 12:14 pm

I haven’t seen this movie yet, but it honestly looks like the best X-Men movie yet. I think I should be lucky enough to get X-Men: First Class on DVD because I have been reading X-Men comics since I have been able to read. I loved how you turned Magneto’s missile strike in Cape Canaveral into the more modern one I’ve seen in the trailers. I have the first X-Men comic and have over 500 X-Men comics alone. I also am excited to see how the movie portrays the origins of Professor X, Magneto, Beast, and other students. The Hellfire Club finally making an a appearance in a live-action movie makes me hyperventilate with joy. Needless to say, this movie looks awesome.

  • danterius Sep 4, 2011, 12:47 pm

it would complete my x men collection. plus i have not seen it

  • Trevor Sep 4, 2011, 3:16 pm

Haven’t seen it, but I’m a huge fan of the series. Would be great to complete my collection.

  • Aaron Wycklendt Sep 4, 2011, 4:47 pm

I love Angel, because she is just like me. We are both biracial, gogo dancers, and have tattoos on our backs. Plus her powers are sweet and edgy. The pixie wings and the acid spitting. An interesting contrast!

  • Matt Sep 4, 2011, 6:20 pm

I am a lifetime Marvel fan, and would love to win this dvd set. My favorite character is Magneto, as he has always been my favorite character in the X-Men series. He has not only the physical intimidation factor but the genius and brilliance that he uses to intimidate his enemies! I need this dvd set to complete my marvel collection!!!

  • ShannonQ Sep 4, 2011, 9:54 pm

  • Michelle Peters Sep 5, 2011, 12:48 pm

my favorite character is professor x. its sad to see him emerge as a lonesome character….but he is so strong willed. he lost a friend but gained an enemy he can only use in the future

  • Ronald Oliver Sep 5, 2011, 1:05 pm

I am a HUGE FAN of Marvel and ALL of their live-action movie adaptations (and television series) of their iconic comic book superheroes! Due to my hectic schedule, I was unable to go and see X-Men: First Class at the movie theater. I would LOVE to win a copy because I am a TRUE HARDCORE FAN that hasn’t seen it yet, and I need to add it to my DVD collection. Thanks for having the contest! I appreciate it very much! :-)

  • Shane Sep 5, 2011, 6:50 pm

I have not seen this movie yet and i love the x-men movies i own them all but this one!

  • Dannielle Thomas Sep 7, 2011, 2:32 pm

    Fave Character: Prof. Charles Xavier

I think it would be so easy to be like Eric and find ways to want to destroy and hate those who hate and want to kill you. Charles represents the one with the most amount of courage, and the one who can truly see the good in all people. He wants to believe in a better, more accepting world and he does what he can to make that happen. He truly is a hero and can teach all of us a lot about love, kindness, and tolerance.

  • Daniel M Sep 7, 2011, 6:10 pm

haven’t seen this one yet, but wolverine is my fav char

  • ferriz Sep 7, 2011, 7:50 pm

Professor X has always been one of my favorites. Something about the mind control has always fascinated me. My all time favorite x-men character is rogue. she rocks and kicks major butt. plus she has awesome hair.

  • Erica C. Sep 7, 2011, 9:16 pm

I’ve liked all the X-Men movies I’ve seen, so this shouldn’t be much different! I’d love to check it out.

  • David Sep 8, 2011, 4:44 am

***(mild spoiler alert)***My favorite mutant character would have to be Magneto. Not only did the movie give his origin and express why he is the mutant he became, it also showed the connection he has with the X-men. Magneto stood and fought by Xavier and became his right hand man and quickly showed his leadership side and took a stand for what he believed in….Mutant superiority and to protect his fellow from the tyranny that would become man

  • Claire Sep 8, 2011, 7:49 am

Magneto, definitely. Superhero movies tend to go the good-and-evil route, but Magneto’s storyline in First Class really fleshes him out as a character and it’s left up to the audience to decide if he’s right or wrong. You know you’ve made a good movie when you have me wondering if I’d side with the traditionally “good” guys or if I’d go with the villain.

  • Melanie Sep 8, 2011, 9:35 am

I loved this movie! My favorite character was Charles Xavier. I love prequels — it’s so fun to see how it all got started and how it all came together. It was interesting to see how Professor X tried to be true to himself and to his friends and how it all turned out.

  • Jenna V Sep 8, 2011, 1:03 pm

my favorite character in the First Class movie is Beast. I liked Mystique too at first but she got a little whiney towards the end. hahah :P

  • Diane Baum Sep 8, 2011, 2:00 pm

I love Magneto. Magneto is smart, strong and can indimate with both his body and mind!

  • Derk Thomas Sep 8, 2011, 7:16 pm

xavier because you find out how he started to need the chair

  • Auriette Sep 8, 2011, 9:37 pm

I haven’t seen X Men First Class yet, and I wasn’t overly impressed with the first X Men movie to rush out and see X Men babies when it came out in theatres, but it might be okay, which is why I’d like to win the DVD, so I can find out without spending any money.
