Comedian Mark Malkoff decided to get his money’s worth out of his $7.99 monthly subscription to Netflix. So, he set out to see how many movies he could watch in one month.

His goal was to watch 250 movies via Netflix streaming and he ended up watching 252. He watched a total of 404.25 hours of movies, which is some 13+ hours per day. The cost per movie ended up being 3.2 cents.

Here is an interview with him:

Could you watch 250+ movies in a month? Would you want to even try?

Wow, wish I had time to do that–I could get through my backlog in no time! With all the tv I watch I’m lucky to get in 1 movie a week!

Kyle, He only watched movies. Just think how many TV shows you could get through, if you watched 13+ hours of TV episodes a day for a month. I could knock a bunch of shows off the Want to Watch list.
