There are six movies opening this week, two everywhere and eight others are in limited release.
Opening Nationwide on Friday, April 3rd:
Movie: Adventureland (R)
Starring: Jesse Eisenberg, Kristen Stewart, Martin Starr, Kristen Wiig, Bill Hader, Margarita Levieva & Ryan Reynolds
Genre: Comedy
Synopsis: A guy who just graduated from college in 1987 is looking forward to a trip to Europe, but finds out his parents won’t pay for it, so has to find a job. The only thing he can find is working at an amusement park over the summer. But, it may not turn out to be all that bad, as he meets a captivating young woman that works there.
First Thoughts: I hope this has an awesome ’80s soundtrack. Love movies set in the decade I grew up in.
Movie: Fast & Furious (PG-13)
Starring: Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, John Ortiz & Laz Alonso
Genre: Action Thriller
Synopsis: An ex-con on the run and an agent are thrown together to fight a common enemy, even though they don’t trust each other. There will be ots of fast cars, beautiful woman and races in all kinds of places.
First Thoughts: Not sure why, but I have been kind of excited to go see this ever since I saw the first trailer many months ago. So, this is the movie I will be seeing tomorrow.
Movies in Limited Release:
- Alien Trespass – Sci-fi period flick about an alien spaceship that crashes in 1957 and unleashes a monster. An alien takes over the body of an astronomer and tries to stop it before the world is destroyed.
- Bart Got a Room – Teen comedy about a nerdy kid that has everything planned for prom, except a date.
- C Me Dance – Suspense thriller about a ballerina being tormented by the devil.
- Sugar – Sports drama about a kid from the Dominican Republic trying to get to the big leagues, so he can get his family out of poverty.
Sunshine Cleaning continues to expanding.
