There are four movies opening the last week of 2010. Unfortunately, unless you are in New York or Los Angeles you probably won’t be seeing any of them, as they all open on a limited basis on Wednesday, December 29th.
Movies in Limited Release:
- Another Year – Comedy drama about a family and friend trying to make sense of their lives as they are all getting older. Directed by Mike Leigh.
- Biutiful – Drama starring Javier Bardem as a man that is trying to square his desire to be good with his law breaking ways.
- Blue Valentine – Drama starring Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams about a couple trying to save their marriage by remembering how things were when they first met.
- The Way Back – Period drama based on a group of soldiers that escaped a Siberian gulag in 1940 that stars Colin Farrell and Ed Harris.
For New Movie Friday there are no new movies playing in my area this week. So, I am going to go see The Fighter. Are there any movies you will be catching this week?
