There are four new movies starting the first Friday of 2012. One opens nationwide and three open on a limited basis.
Nationwide – New Movies Starting Friday, January 6th:
Movie: The Devil Inside (R)
Starring: Fernanda Andrade, Simon Quarterman, Evan Helmuth & Suzan Crowley
Genre: Suspense Horror
Synopsis: Two decades after a woman murdered three people, her daughter is investigating to find out what really happened. She goes to an Italian mental hospital where her mother has been locked away. She wants to find out if her mother is actually mentally ill or possessed. She has the help of two young exorcists to engage multiple demons for her mother.
First Thoughts: Have no interest whatsoever in seeing this movie.
Limited – New Movies Starting Friday, January 6th:
- Beneath the Darkness – Suspense thriller starring Dennis Quaid about a small town mortician with a secret past he will stop at nothing to keep buried.
- Norwegian Wood – Romance drama that is a story of loss and love in 1960s Tokyo.
- Roadie – Psychological drama starring Rod Eldard and Jill Hennessy about a guy that loses his job as a stagehand and heads back to his hometown.
